Lots to Celebrate at the DataSift Forward London Party

Over the last few months, the DataSift team has been a little busy. You may have seen a few press articles on our partnership with Facebook, which for the first time ever gives marketers and brands insight into the trends and topics being discussed on Facebook in a privacy-safe way.

As the first company to be allowed to roll out its technology behind Facebook’s firewall and give organizations access to anonymized, aggregated topic data, we certainly have a lot to celebrate. But there’s more. Much more. The company has grown from just 25 to 150 people over the last five years. We now have five offices worldwide, more than 1000 customers in 40 countries, raised more than $77m in funding and continue to blaze a trail in the social analytics space.  So we felt it was time to celebrate and have a bash for all of our friends.

We were happy to bring together our customers, investors and press to celebrate our recent partnership with Facebook, DataSift’s incredibly fast growth over the past year and DataSift’s  CEO Nick Halstead’s birthday. With hundreds of smiling faces in the room, there was a perfect balance of networking, information gathering, food, drink and entertainment. If one weren’t nibbling on fine canapés while sipping champagne watching the sunset from the 39th floor over the beautiful city that London is, they’d be going on a virtual reality journey via Oculus Rift. One extraordinary view from Level39, more than 250 people, six demo pods, two Occulus Rifts, one birthday cake for our CEO and immeasurable amounts of DataSift swag, a great night was had by all.

Take a look at the photos to see how the night unfolded….
